Our new 1 Year ‘FOUNDATION COURSES’ are designed to fill the gap between our introductory short courses (i.e. our weekend workshops and one-off 1 week courses) and our full-scale vocational trainings which take place over 2 years. They offer a wonderful overview of the whole field of a specific musical domain, (e.g. Singing, Music Education or Therapeutic Musicing), rather than provide just one aspect of these fields - as happens on our short courses.

The courses include the opportunity for on-going feedback through:
  • Individual Lessons and Tutorials
    as well as
  • Help with Developing your Practical Musicianship Skills.

  • In addition, the modular nature of the course provides you with the opportunity for continuing development through the Distance Learning which is set, which gives you the chance to practice, compose and study, (e.g. via preparatory reading), etc., as well as the time to review, test, apply and consolidate the inspiration of the teaching within your own life.

These ‘Foundation Courses’ offer you the opportunity to study music much more deeply than one-off courses permit and to sense whether you might want to go on to train vocationally so that music can become a career path for you. If at the end of these courses students feel they want to enter one of our ‘Vocational Trainings’, these courses will count as the first 2 modules of the ‘Trainings’.
